Our Story

A Century of Creole Cooking, One Family Kitchen.

What began in 1921 as Freeman & Harris Café — later Pete Harris Café, then Brother's Seafood — is today Orlandeaux's Café, named in honor of Orlando Chapman. Through every name change, one thing never did: the recipes, the hospitality, and the family behind the stove.

Today the Chapman family continues that legacy on the shores of Cross Lake, serving scratch-made Creole, Cajun and Southern soul food to Shreveport-Bossier and the entire Ark-La-Tex.
